FUE Hair Transplant

FUE Hair Transplant At Hair Follicle

For over 20 years, Hair Follicle has been a pioneering force and global leader in the field of hair restoration surgery. Patients worldwide come to our clinic to achieve their hair restoration goals.

In recent years, Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) has gained popularity due to its minimal scarring and faster healing times compared to Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT). With FUE, follicular units are selectively harvested one at a time using a precise punch tool, allowing patients to wear their hair cropped exceptionally short without visible scarring. However, achieving results with FUE comparable to FUT requires overcoming additional challenges during the extraction process. While many clinics have yet to overcome these obstacles, we have successfully mastered FUE at Hair Follicle.

Years ago, we introduced state-of-the-art FUE technology and began offering it to our patients. After performing thousands of FUE hair transplant procedures, we have perfected the technique and can deliver superior, industry-leading results comparable to our renowned FUT procedure results.

While certain patients may be better suited to one method over the other, we provide patients with the option of FUT or FUE, ensuring that whichever technique they choose, they receive the best results available anywhere in the world.

How Are FUE Grafts Harvested?

The harvesting of FUE grafts demands exceptional fine motor coordination and patience, making it a highly specialized skill. At our Clinic, we have assembled a team of 24 technicians with extensive experience in microscopic dissection. Among them, only four technicians—chosen for their exceptional skill—have undergone training in FUE extractions. This training has occurred at two world-renowned clinics recognized for their expertise in the FUE technique. We believe that our technicians can match, and perhaps surpass, the proficiency of even the most skilled extraction physicians worldwide. Moreover, our technicians work without any time constraints, unlike busy physicians who may not devote the same amount of time to extractions due to their practice demands.

Currently, we utilize the WAW system with a motorized handle and reciprocating motion, combined with a flat, hybrid punch ranging from 0.8 to 0.9 mm. This highly refined motorized punch is widely regarded by many physicians as the best in the world, a sentiment with which we agree. With this system, we can produce grafts that are comparable to, if not superior to, those obtained through strip excision and microscopic dissection. The primary difference lies in the amount of perifollicular fat surrounding the follicles.

Over the years, Hasson & Wong has dedicated considerable effort to perfecting the FUE technique to a level comparable to our strip technique. As a result, our reputation now extends to providing the very best FUE available in the world today, according to many well-informed individuals.
