Pre Surgery Preparation

We aim to ensure your surgery is as simple and comfortable as possible, and you can contribute by following these pre-surgery preparation suggestions.

Scalp Laxity Exercises

If you are undergoing FUT (Strip) surgery, the outcome can significantly depend on the laxity of your donor zone. Laxity refers to the looseness or flexibility of your scalp. Greater laxity generally allows for the extraction of more grafts and can contribute to minimal scarring. Simple exercises, which only take a few minutes each day, can help improve scalp laxity. The more consistently you perform these exercises, the greater the laxity you may achieve. It’s advisable to start exercising at least one month before surgery if possible. It’s worth noting that scalp laxity does not affect extractions made using FUE. You can find scalp laxity exercise instructions and videos for reference.

Photography

Before-and-after pictures are beloved by everyone, and they are invaluable for tracking the progress of your transplant recovery. On the day of your surgery, we will capture numerous “before” photos of your head, and we’ll also photograph your head at the conclusion of the surgery. However, you may also wish to maintain your own set of “before” photos for personal reference.

Our videos feature close-ups of the scar area, filmed in a well-lit environment with a high-quality HD camera. We are proud to consistently deliver world-class hair transplant results, as shown by the scars featured on this page.

We strive to eliminate any doubt you may have about the authenticity of our results. We believe we have achieved this by using HD technology, filming in a well-lit setting, and providing close-ups and slow comb-throughs.

Paperwork & Financing

We will collect your medical history and contact information well in advance of your surgery to ensure there are no conflicting medications or conditions that might complicate your operation.  We’ll also work with you to collect a deposit which will allow us to schedule your technical team and book the operating room for you.

  • After your surgery date is scheduled, the first deposit of $500 is due within one week.
  • 3 weeks before your surgery, a payment of 75% of your estimated cost is due.
  • The balance is due the day of your surgery.
  • Payments for last-minute bookings will be arranged individually.

Travel & Accommodations

If you’re traveling for your surgery, our administrative staff will assist you in booking a hotel or help you find accommodations that meet your requirements. The day after your surgery, you’ll be invited to the clinic for a follow-up appointment to monitor your progress and learn how to safely wash your hair. However, the remainder of the day is yours, so you may wish to plan some activities.
